gravitas<\/em> is a family within the DF-ABSTRACT language, situated in contemporary geometric abstract art, exploring density, anchoring, and the stability of forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

gravitas<\/em> is the family of weight, grounding and perceptive density.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it brings together the evocatio<\/em> in which geometry appears subjected to a constant, irrevocable force that constrains forms toward a direction, a center or a dominant axis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the compositions are dense, often restrained, sometimes almost motionless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tensions are not expressed through movement, but through the load they impose upon space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

each form seems necessary, difficult to displace, impossible to lighten without breaking the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
