geometric abstract art, exploring density, anchoring, and the stability of forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><em>gravitas<\/em> is the family of weight, grounding and perceptive density.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">it brings together the  <em>evocatio<\/em>  in which geometry appears subjected to a constant, irrevocable force that constrains forms toward a direction, a center or a dominant axis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the compositions are dense, often restrained, sometimes almost motionless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>tensions are not expressed through movement, but through the load they impose upon space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>each form seems necessary, difficult to displace, impossible to lighten without breaking the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
